Slightly sweet, lightly floral and perfectly bubbly, this Sparkling Strawberry Rosé Elderflower Cocktail is a great way to celebrate a sunny summer afternoon.
It’s finalllllllllly summer weather around here, I think we might have just completely skipped Spring but I’m totally OK with that! Especially if that means patio season!
Dining and drinking al fresco is a real art here in the midwest. With such cold and snowy winters, we can’t help but flock to the patio when the snow melts and the ice thaws.
Elderflower is one of my favorite liqueurs. It’s light, sweet and floral and goes great with fresh fruit and bubbles. Speaking of bubbles, I love using a dry sparkling rosé in this drink since it’s already fruity but you can use any dry crisp bubbly for an equally delicious drink!
Serve these sparkling sips whenever the suns shining! Brunch, happy hour, patio parties or on the beach, this one is great for those warm summer days. So, If you need me, I’ll be out on the patio with a floppy hat and an endless supply of bubbly rosé. You, my friend should totally join me! Cheers to the beginning of summer!

Ingredients
- 1 medium strawberry, trimmed and chopped
- 2 ounces elderflower liqueur
- 1 ounce vodka
- 2 ounces sparkling rosé, prosecco or cava, chilled
- Fresh strawberry, for garnish
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the strawberry with the elderflower liqueur. Add the vodka and ice. Shake vigorously for at least a minute.
- Double strain into a chilled glass. Top with sparkling rosé and garnish with a strawberry.
