Sage and Grapefruit Mimosa

A fresh twist on the traditional mimosa recipe. This Sage and Grapefruit Mimosa is fresh, sweet and delicate; the perfect way to update brunch.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces fresh squeezed ruby red grapefruit juice, strained
  • 1 1/2 ounce elderflower liqueur (I used St-Germain)
  • 2 fresh sage leaves
  • 4 ounces Prosecco or sparkling white wine
  • Grapefruit slice or twist, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add grapefruit juice, elderflower liqueur and one of the sage leaves to a cocktail shaker filled with ice; shake until chilled.
  2. Strain into a glass filled with ice. Top with Prosecco and garnish with the remaining sage leaf and grapefruit slice.
