Smashed Red Potatoes are crispy, crunchy, totally snackable and perfect for your game day party!

  • 12 small red potatoes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons coarse Kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 450°F. In a large pot of boiling water, cook potatoes until fork tender, about 15 to 20 minutes; be careful to not overcook them. Remove potatoes and drain.
  2. Place cooked potatoes on a well-oiled baking sheet, about 2-inches apart.
  3. With a potato masher or fork, gently press down each potato until it slightly mashes, rotate the potato masher and mash again, until about 1/2-inch thick.
  4. Brush each smashed potato generously with olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
