Garam Masala Roasted Chickpeas

Roasted Chickpeas tossed in a mixture of garam masala, salt and pepper. An addicting snack and great topper for salads.

  • 1 can (19 oz) chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F. Pat rinsed and drained chickpeas dry with a paper towel. Line a 10x15x1-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients until chickpeas are well coated in oil and seasoning. Spread in a single layer on baking pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes, stirring after 20 minutes, or until browned and crispy. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
