Bourbon and Honey Coarse Mustard

A quick and easy recipe for homemade coarse mustard, a spicy, zippy and boozy pairing with crackers, meats and cheeses.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown mustard seeds
  • 3/4 
cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3/4
 cup honey
  • 2/3
 cup bourbon
  • 1/2 cup yellow mustard seeds
  • 1 1/2
teaspoons sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, stir together all ingredients. Let stand, covered 8 hours or overnight to combine the flavors. Transfer to the bowl of a food processor; and pulse until desired texture.
  2. Spoon into clean jars. Refrigerate 1 week before serving or up to 2 months.
