This Pear and Blue Cheese Crostini is the best last-minute happy hour appetizer you could ever ask for! It’s easy, quick and perfect for a party!

  • 1 loaf (20-inch) baguette French bread, cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 ounces crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 fresh firm pears, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1/4 cup toasted walnut halves
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Honey

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Place sliced bread on ungreased cookie sheets; lightly brush with olive oil. Bake 6 to 9 minutes or until crisp. Cool completely.
  2. Spread blue cheese mixture on top of each baguette slice. Top with pear slice, walnut, pomegranate seeds, thyme and a drizzle of honey.
